----------------------------------------------------------- From: PTResearcher2 Message 10 in Discussion Daddy has his liver surgery on June 12th @ Hopkins. The cancer is resectable, thankfully. He may have to have 80% of his liver removed, however. His surgeon refers to it as a "tricky" case. Thankfully, he believes that he can resect the cancer. Daddy had his port placed yesterday morning so he can receive chemo treatments after he recovers from the surgery. Daddy's surgery for the port placement went well. Daddy will have to undergo 1-2 liver surgeries and 6 months of chemo. Thankfully, his latest scans do not show cancer anywhere else. This is a very good sign. We are very thankful that Daddy can have the resection for best chance of a cure, but he will be going through a lot in the coming months. Please keep him in your prayers. Thank you so much for your prayers. I will let you know how his surgery goes... Take care.
