When they put in the spinal drain, the headaches became UNBEARABLE. I could not get up without experiencing a most horrific, unbearable, can't even describe headache. I am convinced that if I had been made to stand up my heart would have given up in 10minutes or less. I now find out that Chiari patients have unbalance of spinal fluid pressure between the brain and spinal cord. I wonder if that could have caused the severe headaches. I am going to ask the neurosurgeon when I go back in Oct. In the meantime, I think I'll check in to Chiari Institute in NY.
