----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Indygirl_panhypopit Message 3 in Discussion Tina, I'd get a second opinion even if he said he'd take it out. I've never heard of someone saying they only take out tumors 2cms and larger or secreating? Non-secreating tumors are the most frequent kind and once they get to be about 1 cm it's very difficult to remove them without having to cut through your skull......removing it through your nose is a whole lot easier. Do you have a good endo that has worked you up for tests to find out more? I think once you have good testing evidence that your quality of life is being caused by too little or too much hormone and there's a visible tumor on your pit gland, you shouldn't have to much trouble. How are you feeling now? :) Gina ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/PituitaryChat/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
