----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Indygirl_panhypopit Message 5 in Discussion Your test scores don't indicated you having central hypothyroidism. When that happens your TSH and your Free T4 are very low. I have this due to a pituitary tumor so I've learned a bit about it. It does look though that your doctor did not test the "free" values of T4 and T3. That is critical because only the free values show you what is actually available for your body to use.......the total shows that plus all the cells that are bound to proteins that are not usuable. Ask your doc to retest with the free values and the TSH again so you get the full picture. :) Gina ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/PituitaryChat/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
