I just had my surgery 1 1/2 weeks ago. I have been told not to bend forward,
pick anything up, lift anything heavier then a phone, I do let the dog out but
I do not feed the dog as that would involve a lot of strain getting into the
food...LOL!!!! I have not driven yet. My husband tends to my son and my son is
8. He tried to help out as much as possible. You also have to sleep at a 45
degree angle which is a pain in the butt. I have had a couple of sleepless
nights. I would not be able to manage an infant nor would I be allowed to lift
one. If I were you, yes, I would have someone full time. If I cannot lift
anything heavier then a phone an infant is definitely out and you would not
want to fall with your precious little one either!!!!! Good luck!!!!

HUGS,

Tina

Could anyone tell me what the doctors DON'T tell you about recovery? I am
having
transphenoidal surgery to remove 1.3cm x 1.7cm pit tumor and I feel like I am
going into it blind as far as the recovery. What can't I do, all they have told
me is it will be 1-2 day inpatient recovery with a week - 2 week out of
hospital
recovery but I have 2 kids 1 being an infant and 2 dogs and I don't know if I
need someone to stay full time with me? Can I drive? Can I function? Help! I
feel lost. I could use the truth ablout the recovery.
