From: Rita Sent: 5/2/2005 12:20 PM Yes, I noticed that I was seeing
whit spots, like clouds in front of my eyes before I was diagnosed, I told the
my eye doctor and he just gave me glasses. This was in March 2003, then in
January 2004, I went to get my drivers license renewed and I could not read out
of my left eye. They told me I was restricted to glasses when driving. I went
to the eye doctor that day and told him, I couldnt hardly see out of my left
eye, he did all kinds of testing and then scheduled me for a MRI immediately.
That is when they found the tumor. After the surgery, I could see really well,
but then I noticed that my eye sight was getting worse. So I went back to the
eye doctor and he said that I had gotten worse, 2 levels worse. I really have
to wear my glasses about all the time now. I was wondering if this was normal
with anyone. My next MRI is scheduled for the first of the year. I am hoping
nothing is growing back. My 6 month MRI was good, he was not concerned. My
greatest concerns right now are my constant headaches, which I had Sinus
surgery for, didnt help, plus the possibilities of that thing growing back.
Hope this helps you a little. Good luck. Rita Harris
