Robert, I'm facing surgery next Thursday, the 18th for the removal of a 1.5
cm macro adenoma on the pituitary. About 2 weeks ago, I developed what I think
is vertigo (seems to match all the symptoms). Anyway, I was wondering if this
is something similar to what you're experiencing? I asked my ENT, who looked in
my ears and said they were clear - no infection. But there is a contact
high-pitched whine - like distant mosquitoes - so I'm wondering if it's my ears
and not at all related to the tumor (which ENT thinks it is). Who ever said
medicine was an exact science! So - are you experiencing vertigo - like turning
over in bed in the morning and the world rocks like you're on a boat. And then
you try to walk and seem to find all the furniture and door jams as you slam
into them? This seems to last anywhere from an hour to 24 hours - differs
daily! Thanks for your response ---Darryl
