----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: nynewbie Message 1 in Discussion It's not clear to me how the surgery at Skull Base or Pittsburgh differs from the type of surgery performed at a place like Mass General. Don't most surgeons now go through the nose, for a more minimally invasive procedure? Tina, I've been following your story (probably because my tumor is the same size as yours was -- I'm starting to have symptoms -- yet blood tests are still normal). And, it seems to me that you selected the California doctor because his procedure was the least invasive. Can you explain how it differs from the procedures done at other centers? Thanks!
