----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: liltrubin Message 2 in Discussion Dear Jeff: God bless you! I cannot comment on your questions as my tumor was only 8mm but as far as your long journey for treatment, have you considered things like books on tape, every now and again asking a friend or family member go with you, things of that nature so you are not alone in this? I cannot even imagine!!!! HUGS, Tina If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk? Albert Einstein In a message dated 12/16/2007 9:30:08 P.M. However, the 20% the surgeon couldn't get was wrapped around my carotid arteries on both sides so I'm now in the midst of 3D Conformal radiation (5400 cgys total). I'd like to hear other's experiences with this. I'm having a really hard time with some fatigue, anxiety, upset stomach, spaci-ness. I can see some of the radiation, taste it, etc... It's just very bizzare as the linear accel. cranks up and then dispenses the radiation to my head! I also am going to UCSF which is 80 miles away and the solitude of driving and treatment is getting to me. Thanks for reading.
