It is a macroadenoma and the doctors here have recommended operation. According to our research we learnt about that in HK Acromegaly patients are treated rarely and so we decided to look for doctors in the US who treat such patients every week like Dr. Kunwar and Dr. Shahinain. I am not sure which on the two should we approach for surgery. Does any one has any idea as regards the technique of operation (endoscopy vs microscope or both), the success rate, approach, time they give? We are grateful for your advice on anything that you would know regarding these doctors.
