LOL! Only because I listen to people who have their periods after years and
their thrilled and we cannot stop mine even using patches throughout the entire
month!!!!! You will be hard pressed to find a doc who would be willing to put
you into early menopause with your history. I feel your pain!!!! I want mine
gone too. You might consider asking if you can take the Yaz throughout the
month so you do not have to have a period. It works great in theory, I am very
unusual in the sense we can medical attempt to stop it and I will still have
one to two per month and I get very sick with it too! Let us know what the doc
says for future reference-:)

HUGS,
Tina

I have been in menopause for 12 years though I am only 28. I was diagnosed
with secondary amenorrhea after the tumor was found a while back. I have tried
many medications, however, Dostinex is the only one that didn't make me feel
lousy. I went to my gyno for a checkup and she put me on Yaz because she said
I had some bone loss due to the lack of estrogen. Well gee whiz, after my first
28 pills were gone--all horror began--my period again. I hate having one and
after 12 years of its absence I want it gone again. Does anyone know if it will
stop altogether if I discontinue taking the Yaz for estrogen replacement? If
it doesn't end I may ask for a hysterectomy. I would love to have kids, but
minus the bleeding.
