Iam tired of reserching the web with no end in sight. I have so many symptoms some of which my endo. dismissed, some of whcih he said is due to hte prolactinoma. Well, now after going through hell with cabergoline my prolactin is almost normal. But all my other symptoms are just the same or worst. These being hirsutism, some kind of hyper pigmentation but not melasama, acne, muscle pains practically everywhere and everyday, fatigue, hair loss, no weight loss despite exercise and good diet, and sometimes hot flash type of incidents. The acne jsut wont go though I tried every OTC avialable. So much acne even in winter that my face is a mess. I dont have diabetees. My current endo. ONLY checked me for thyroid and pituitary disorders. Thyroid was normal but prolactin was very high. So he put me on cabergoline. Even thought I asked him so many times, he does not want to test cortisol level or test for Pcos. He told me I am normal otherwise and other symptoms will go away after cabergoline treatment. But the questions is is he neglecting my health? I have already changed so many endos. it is frustrating to find a new one that is at least this good. And my insurance will not cover if I keep on seeing new doctors and doing tests. I just dont know what Iam suposed to do. Sorry for venting here but noone wants to listen.
