Dear Laura:

Dr. William White followed my case for 4 years and refused to acknowledge that
any of my issues had to do with the tumor. He is an awesome doc but would not
take out my tumor. Since I have had my tumor out, my new endo see mostly Whites
patients and shared with me that almost ALL of his patients come in with some
type of deficiency post op and most have numerous!!!! He is rated top 3% in the
nation. I looked into Mayo here in Scottsdale and they really irritated me. As
you know we need docs that do this surgery ALL the time with a proven track
record yet Mayo would not release that information. They said I could submit
all my records and if one of their two neurosurgeons wanted to look further
into my case they would call me to set up an appointment!!!! Why bother if they
only do something like 12 a year. After the fact I spoke to a couple of people
who went to Mayo Scottsdale for treatment and they were not pleased AT ALL!!!!
I went to Dr. Shahinian in California and after everything that I have learned
since I would not go to anyone else. ALL of my hormones are normal accept my
estrogen which is easily manged plus I could have low estrogen even if I did
not have a tumor. GH if deficient before surgery generally does not return to
normal but mine did!!!! My testosterone, Cortisol, and prolactin all went back
to normal. My endo is Dr. Reddy (Female) at Endocrinology Associates. I love
her but the office is not the greatest and you wait long periods of time in the
waiting room. I have however learned if you go as the first person in the
afternoon your good!!!! You will be very pleased with her. Whatever you do, do
not I repeat DO NOT go to Dr. Maria Versa!!!!!! She is extremely unethical,
rude and her staff is even worse then she is!!!!!

HUGS,
Tina

Thanks, it always helps to hear other people's experiences!
