----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Dee Message 6 in Discussion Hi there, Some of these doctors are so clueless when it comes to pituitary issues. You certainly do have the symptoms and sometimes the IGF-1 test isn't enough. You might need to have the growth hormone stimulation test like I had done when my doctor suspected low growth hormone. It was definitely low when they did this special test and yet at that time the blood test just for IGF-1 was in the normal range. Only later on did that drop. You should go to a pituitary center if possible or find out if your doctor knows who can do the stimulation test in your area. I am not a doctor but your results sure sound low to me.
