Not even a qualified medical doctor would diagnose you over a message board! Want an opinion? My suspicion would be "Yes" -- you have many of the symptoms I had. I also had double vision and a few others. I dunno what kind of specialist you're seeing tomorrow, but I hope you have an endocrinologist meeting in your near future. Like you, "my prolactin levels were through the roof" and that's how my endo diagnosed a macroprolactinoma after seeing the MRI. Be aware that an endocrine lab's blood tests are much more sophisticated than tests available to most GPs. A word of advice: DON'T WORRY. You can tell from many of the Board topics that some of us do have serious problems with our tumors. But worrying won't help. If you get a clean bill of health, you worried for nothing. If a tumor is diagnosed, you may be able to more calmly deal with it if you haven't uselessly worried. If you have a prolactinoma, your prognosis is encouraging. Very few people die from such a treatable tumor. They're generally benign, and the usual drugs show dramatic results. My neurosurgeon said if his own brother had a tumor, he would hope it would be a pituitary prolactinoma. Let us know as soon as you have something to report. It helps tremendously to share our problems with people who have experienced the same things. I hope you don't have a tumor. But if you do, be assured that we're here for you.
