I was recently diagnosed with sarcoidosis and have been suffering from this
prolactinoma for the past ten years now. My doctor told me that the pitauitary
adenoma may be secondary to the sarcoidosis because it can cause a rise in
prolactin. I am extremely tired all the time and am unable to concentrate.
Would it seem sluggish of me to ask my doctors to take me out of work on
diability? I am only 28 but the tumor added over 100 pounds to my frame and I
feel weak and irritable. I work as a case manager for the mentally ill
population in our area and I believe I may need to be getting services myself.
