Actually, it is possible that the sarcoid has infiltrated the pituitary and is 
mimicking a pituitary tumor. Are you on steroid therapy for your sarcoid? If 
so, this most likely has alot to do with the weight gain.   My brother has 
advanced sarcoidois. He is in his mid 30s. He is legally blind now (because of 
the sarcoid), is rapidly nearing the day when he will have to start dialysis 
and will soon be on the transplant list for kidney, pancreatic, and hopefully 
eye.    He was actually denied disability until he became legally blind a few 
months ago. He applied over 2 years ago. If you think this may be in your 
future, go ahead and apply now, so that if things turn for the worse, the 
waiting period is much shorter.   Do know that my brother really inspires me to 
do as I can do for as long as I can do. Try to keep a positive attitude. My 
brother has been through so much, yet in some ways, he is doing so well.
