Hi Tina - My hormone levels were all over the place after surgery too. Mine
occurred 3-5 months after my 6/07. In my case, there was some damage to the
gland during the surgery. I was placed on supplements for cortisol (a
steroid-dexamethasone), thyroid (levoxyl), and testosterone. my IGF1 level has
been on the low side too. It has taken nearly 7 or 8 months for my hormone
levels to even out for me. An MRI would probably be your surgeon's next step
to see if the tumor has returned. Also, if it has, there is radiation (which I
had 12/07-1/08) to kill tumor cells as they try to duplicate). Hang in there.
There are still lots more tricks in the bag of modern neuro-medicine.

Jeff
