At first the endo, doc and surgeon thought they were galbladder attacks since I am on Sandostatin and did have several stones already. They removed the galbladder and stones but two days later the attacks returned. These have put me in the ER on a few occasions. Here is what happens. All the sudden I start feeling kinda weird but not sick. Then after 5 minutes of this I get cold and clammy and sweat porfusely (spelled that wrong). Minutes later I have excruciating pain about 4 inches below my heart and up high in my back. Pain lasts anywhere from 20 minutes to two hours. Today was by far the worst. We were waiting for our food in Dennys when I had to be transported to the hospital. Nobody can seem to figure out what is happening. It is not acid reflux nor galbladder attacks nor pancreitis. I have had nothing but problems with my health for many months now and neither of my endocrinologists are helping me. One actually insinuated that they were in my mind! Anybody else have these attacks that maybe can shed some light. I am desperate. I feel like I am having a heart attack when they occur and they terrify me.
