----------------------------------------------------------- From: Chris_Wenninger Message 5 in Discussion Hi Guys - Thanks for your input. It is reassuring to know that the radiation is having a positive impact on your growth hormone levels. I recently read about a study where they are using ultrasound to guide the Sandostatin LAR injection. This is making Jason and I feel that our observation of the effectiveness of the shot is directly linked to how it is administered. We are wondering if his elevated levels of growth hormone are due to his shot not being administered into the deep muscle. The study using ultrasound as a guide would make you think that the manufacturer is wondering the same thing. Anyway, I will keep you posted regarding the decisions that Jason makes regarding his care, and again, I appreciate your responses. - Chris - Ogys Mom ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/PituitaryChat/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
