----------------------------------------------------------- From: mikedeprinter Message 11 in Discussion It also sounds better when you apply for a Student Pilot's License. I decided to take some flying lessons 10 years ago and the first step to getting a license is a Student Pilot's License-like a pilot's learners permit. You have to get a physical and then are issued the permit. You should have seen the look on the Dr.'s face when he saw the multiple pages under medical history on my application and then said, "You had a WHAT!!!". He said it would have to be determined by the FAA if I could get the Student Pilot's License. Took 5 months but I was given the OK. Never finished to get the license, but had fun flying.
