Thanks for the replies. I was checking on other blod test results and my last
GH was 0.2 which I am not sure may be on the low side. Also it was found that
my testosterone level was 216 which has dropped from 414 in 2006. They now
have me on a testosterone patch in attempt to raise this level to see if it
makes me feel better but after 8 days I feel no different. This has been a
roller coaster ride with my health as I felt much better prior to the
acromegaly problems. I had tons of energy and felt great. Since all this has
happened my energy levels have been near 0. I just never have any energy to do
anything and when I do things I quickly run out of energy and/or my blood sugar
level drops off quickly (down to 38 the other day) and I have to stop to get
that taken care of. I did see when Sandostatin LAR can cause that and I am
going to discuss that with my endo on the next visit. It sounds like a lot of
us that have dealt with this disease are going through the same thing. I have
had to get done work and applied for disability but that has been dragging on
for about 8 months now and I am not sure what will take place with that. Has
anyone else been able to go on disability because of this?
