With Asperger's there's that inward focus we often see in Autism Spectrum disorders. You did startle me by suggesting a link between ADHD and Asperger's, to Pit Tumors and Apathy. Have you been following our other thread on Apathy - Anyone else struggling with it? We also touch on that in the DOPAMINE Workshop discussion. Lack of the brain chemical Dopamine might cause several kinds of Pit Tumors, and we also include links that tie it to Apathy Syndrome, wherein that neurotransmitter compound is in short supply. As for your idea of Mercury poisoning to ADHD/Asperger's, that theory is supported in some of the medical literature. But it's hard to compare, since only recently have vaccines begun to be available without that element. Who knows, maybe the improved hearing might be caused by changes in levels of Dopamine? Check into that and tell us what you think.
