----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: aleahs mom Message 1 in Discussion I had surgery on 11/14/08 to remove what we believed to be a non-functioning pituitary tumor. After surgery the dr. informed me that he didn't believe it was a tumor but possibly a cyst. He called yesterday to let me know that the lab they sent the tumor to (the whole tumor) was unable to clarify what exactly it was. The dr. thought maybe it was a cyst. It was filled with milky white stuff. Anybody have any ideas? The next lab report is supposed to be ready next week. Also, I had a ENT surgeon do the initial "drilling" or whatever and I am still having bloody snot running past the tubes and down my throat. Is this normal? Thanks for the help!
