----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: matlst Message 7 in Discussion My name is Mike I was diagnose 4 years ago around labor day with a prolactinoma mine was the size of my knuckle. they were able to get most of it but still have it. I have MRIs each year since surgery and I'm on the same medicine (cabergoline) twice a week. this med may shrink the rest, but most likely will at least keep it from getting larger. I'm now 55 years old. Since surgery I don't have headaches much. One thing they will keep an eye on is that it doesn't grow and if it is like mine near the optic nerve they will want to check vision each year. take it easy on him and make sure others know that he will have good days and bad days.
