----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: TenderWally Message 1 in Discussion Haven't been here awhile, just trying to live life pretty normally. However, I do stop in & read, even respond once in awhile and I am so appreciative of this site - it's helped so many! My question is something that may or may not have anything to do w/ my pit issues. Hopefully, someone may have some insight. ......I've been noticing that although falling or being clumsy has always played a part in my life since discovering I have a pit tumor some 5? year ago, lately its been getting much worse! I would say that I fall at least 3 times a week now. I don't collapse, I usually bump (no. more like slam) into things. Always been told my optic nerve looks great! Everything infact is perfect with everything concerning my tumor! So, although I am aware that things aren't right, just as I had been before being diagnosed, I come not to dwell on things much and long ago expressed my frustration w/ the medical community in general not to mention health care that doesn't believe its necessary to see anyone out of my area (pit speciality center), so I truly haven't been doing much to dwell. Pretty dumb, huh? I'm forty nine and am constantly bruised up!!! I can't imagine how bad this is gonna get as I get older!!! May or may not have anything to do w/ tumor. May be something altogether different - you guys heard anything? Also, joint pain is getting harder to avoid facing. ....not in denial, just tired of complaining to docs and not getting direct answers regardless of whom I see!!!! Also, my MD believes there's a chance I may have narcolesy (sp?), but proceeded to tell me that adderall is used to treat, which I'm already on - so, unless I feel 'the need to know', do I really need to know? Why no, of course not - right?! Come to the conclusion that, sometimes you just gotta live! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/PituitaryChat/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
