Hi Bix - 
I had a non-functioning pit tumor removed in June '07. I slowly started to 
regain strength but there are a lot of factors that complicate the scenario. 
Specifically, my tumor (5cm) and/or surgery damaged my gland so that my hormone 
levels started to fall 3-4 months afterwards. I started to have more fatigue, 
numbness in my fingertips, and some added aches and pains above and beyond just 
being a 51 yr old man. Your Endocrinologist is the main Doctor at that point 
and should be testing. My supplements helped those symptoms. Hormone levels are 
touchy and striking a good balance can take months especially given that your 
partner's pituitary function may be fluctuating also.  Good luck, jb
