Yes, I think so.
In fact, this issue was caught by a new 'stress-test' I have been
writing, that tries to make pixman crash by using combinations of
unusual features such as alpha maps, accessors, wide formats, indexed
formats, projective transforms etc.
Aside from this issue, that test also uncovered a bunch of issues with
alpha maps, which are fixed here:

It is also catching some memory corruption that I haven't tracked down
yet.
