It looks fine to me. Consider that: - contrib is NOT in the upstream tarball - contrib is in the upstream git - only a few selected contrib entries are redistributed by Debian For these reasons contrib in debian/upstream diffs heavilly against both the upstream tarball and the upstream git (former with plus, latter with minus).
