If you don't mind the package timestamp changing, then yeah, sort of. Note that the installation will drag in all dependencies, so you may need a substantial temp area. But since we don't modify files from what they are in the repo, you should be able to rip apart the manifest and re-send its components to the second repo. I think I'd end up going the rsync route for now, but feel free to experiment.
