That's my suggestion. As one example, I'd like to see what we think of as the kernel refactored into a bunch of much smaller packages. The hypothetical namespace mentioned in my email has nothing to do with where packages install, but rather how they'd be organized within IPS. The current state of affairs, where SUNWcs is the poster child, is just too big and unwieldy.
