If the user drags down the SVR4 packages from a valid mirror site then no problem, if the user uses IPS then we have a whirlwind of problems. William Bonnet works very hard to get those ZFCE packages built with Studio for the users out there and I have worked hard with testing. The KDE world loves the work of Stefan Teleman and that software is working fine or at least nearly perfect and built with Studio 12 too. The packages are fine ... the question is the delivery mechanism. Essentially we have to have a major effort to actually convert those packages to a format that is reasonable for IPS ( why are we doing this again? who is "we"?? ) and the whole pre- and post install script debacle is a tempest in a teacup. Users just want to get a job done .. they don't want new problems.
