I've gotten myself into what might be an odd situation. My two authorities are cyber and ipkg.sfbay, with the latter as my preferred authority, but the former has newer packages.
In particular, both have packages with versions @...-0.91, but cyber has newer timestamps available than ipkg. Okay, that's fine. But when resolving a dependency that is stated with an untimestamped version, should I choose the latest version, or the version from my default authority? Given that the authority shouldn't matter in which I choose, I'd guess that choosing the latest version is more important, but I wondered if anyone else had an opinion on the subject. I think the current code will choose preferred authority over version, FWIW.
