contains a fix for
3247 gui reinstalls components even when not necessary
which has been bugging me for a bit. It basically propagates clean and
clobber down to the gui Makefile and sets up proper dependencies in the gui
and gui/po Makefiles. It doesn't integrate the gui build into setup.py,
though that ought to happen at some point.
In the process, I shredded the gui/po Makefile. I don't know whether John
and Michal were actually using that for anything, but it wasn't part of the
standard build. If y'all are actually using it, let me know, and I'll find
a way to keep it around (probably by renaming the existing one to
GNUMakefile, and putting my makefile in as Makefile).
