I might note that the value of legacy actions would be a great
workaround for a lot of packages in the meantime.
As an example, look at this output:
http://pkg.opensolaris.org/search/0/SUNWvim
legacy_pkg legacy SUNWvim
pkg:/[email protected],5.11-0.93:20080708T171331Z
...snip...
While not all packages have a legacy action, most do, and that is
available on the server.
So, you could always search these in *addition* to the fmri.
