This is a small (14 line) code review to fix up the reindexing
problems that Bart and Shawn discovered this morning. It plumbs the
image object down through client_update_index and into
generic_update_index which was changed in the search_v1 putback to use
that parameter. It also fixes the issue where the index hash file was
not being read, so a reindex was always happening on install.
