...and I would highly discourage you from continuing to use it. We will be changing the depot format and other things in the future, and home-grown solutions like this will break.

are we considering a more formal way to solve this sort of problem? a high percentage of our customers typically have a large secure air gap between their network and the rest of the world .. installing in these environments is going to require a private, local, cacheable repository - preferably something that is also easily transportable .. AI and a pass through proxy isn't going to cut it as this will typically introduce a site policy violation
