No, I'm not actually "in SWAN." The access point I do have to SWAN is substantially slower and maxes out at about 80 kb/s to the package server quite often.
But you should also be aware that as I stated in my original post, the times I posted *did not include the download phase*. The times here are only for the actual update process with all of the data already cached in /var/pkg/download.
There are some limitations and/or bugs in the underlying Python libraries that are restricting transport performance and that is why the pkg(5) transport system is being overhauled.
