Good points. A pro-facet argument for sources that I realised while implementing it is that I cannot ensure that the source will be available from the separate repo and it's difficult to ensure that the fmri to the sources it correct. I need to publish the sources first, but if I decide to re-publish the sources to a different repo, I will need to update the meta data and republish the binaries as well. Not the end of the world, but using facets would make it trivial to ensure that the binaries are always accompanied by the sources.
