Looks like you're right regarding the number of hits. I just did an
export PKG_CLIENT_TIMEOUT=300
Now my search for 'gnome' has produced the "first 100 found in 101
seconds."
Interestingly enough 'python' against dev took even longer: "70 found in
122 seconds."
I see Brock has responded, so I'm going to continue my thoughts in my
response to him. :-)
