Rich-- Not an unreasonable assumption :) But Shawn is right. For now,
anyway, pkg-discuss is the place.

I'd like to have some sort of "having trouble?" link which would help
in troubleshooting, but we're not quite there yet.

Shawn-- this might be a potential enhancement for publisher/0-- where
the user should seek technical assistance with connectivity (or other)
problems for said repository. That could be a webpage, or a url,
or something else I suppose. Sort of like the old HOTLINE field
in SVR4 packaging, except that was useless.

It could also be rendered on the web app at some point, too.
Suggest a name and we can add it to the pkg.client.publisher.Repository object which in turn would have it go into the publisher/0 output and be useable by the BUI.

Perhaps:

maintainer: John Smith <jsmith AT foo com>
support_uri: http://helpme/

"support" is really overloaded. I'll try to think of something
closer. We should probably write out a *very* clear description
of what these mean, or people will put all sorts of random stuff
in them :)

What about:

contact: John Smith <jsmith AT foo com>
contact_uri: http://contactus/

All of the existing ones are fully documented in "pydoc pkg.client.publisher.Repository".

Do you have any suggested properties?

Cheers,
