This looks fine, with one minor nit:
- if I change to not show the icons in the menu in the appearance
preferences dialog, nothing happens. Other applications such as gedit
does not show menu icons at that stage.
To reproduce:
- start gedit (text editor)
- start Package Manager
- In the System -> Preferences -> Appearance
- Go to the tab Interface
- Uncheck "Show icons in menus"
Expected result:
- icons in both gedit and Package Manager should dissappear from menus.
Actual result
- the icons in Package Manager are still there. Restarting PM doesn't help.

As part of adding icons to the requested menu items, the icons for
install_update, reload, remove, update_all were move from the glade
file directory to the directory for the default theme.
The icons arrow.png, new_star24x.png were removed as they are no
longer used.
The icons packagemanager.png used as the application icon is now
storeed in the mercurial repository instead of being copied from
another icon.
