No. It's not targeted for the next release, as aside from a few recent
hiccups, it's something that can be done manually, even if unsupported.
Could you share what the "something that can be done manually" is? I
suppose it could be something as simple as simply moving /var/pkg to
another pool, and linking or lofi mounting it, but in an ancient thread
this method was deemed unworkable, so perhaps something has changed.
