Okay. According to Rich, David and Stephen had agreed on the prefixed
names some time ago.

While I frequently clash with them on this subject,
this is also a situation where the tails of the package names shouldn't
conflict with any other packages (though some might -- libstdc?), so
forcing a user to add a disambiguator doesn't seem to me to add any
benefit. But perhaps they were thinking about something else; I'd like to
hear one of the chime in on this.
