Except that the tarballs aren't called g<something>-<vers>.tar.*, but
just <something>-..., so it may be more appropriate to place them into a
gnu branch of the hierarchy. Depending on where you come from, you
think of e.g. GNU grep as *the* grep, not ggrep.
