On a related note, is there any reason why these logged errors shouldn't
be deleted? As far as I can tell, the sorts of errors being logged are
not the sort that might later explain why one's system got into a funny
state.... Granted, one can delete the logs out of /var/tmp. But I think
it would be nice to be able to clear these things out within PM.

Put another way, if I file an RFE for this capability, is it a WONTFIX
or something you'd consider?
