Code looks fine to me. I might slightly prefer the suggestion for output
that was suggested in the bug, but I don't feel strongly about it.

I've updated the code review w/ comments from the various reviewers;
this also fixes a bug where if there was only one difference
between pkgs it was erroneously elided.
Output format for lists is now to just print the differences between the
lists rather than the entire previous and new lists.
