I have tried pkg verify, then followed up by pkg fix to cleanup those
failures.
Have you pulled from tip of on-ips? This error was caused by
Liane's gate being mismatched wrt opensolaris.org; in particular,
SUNWrmodr obsoletion IIRC.

Looks like we may have a resolution to this problem. I did set up a
depot for the 'extra' repo and there was a dependency on SUNWcryptoint
that was blocking the image-update. Adding a depot pointing the extra
repo built in the gate allowed for the update to move forward.
