I got an issue with my IPS repo.(http://ipsbj.prc:9002) recently, the
branch no. of which is 0.134.99, and my client has osol b133
installed(branch no. is 0.133), the publisher setting as below,
PUBLISHER TYPE STATUS URI
desktop (preferred) origin online
http://ipsbj.prc:9002/
opensolaris.org (non-sticky) origin online
http://ipkg.sfbay/dev/
0.134.99 packages are invisible on my client,
$ pfexec pkg list -a pkg://desktop/*
NAME (PUBLISHER) VERSION
STATE UFOXI
SUNWmm-common 0.5.11-0.134.90 known
-----
verm-stable-b135-i386 0.1-0.134.90 known
-----
$ pfexec pkg install verm-stable-b135-i386
Creating Plan -Planning for install failed:
Use -v option for more details
pkg: No version of verm-stable-b135-i386 can be installed:
pkg://desktop/[email protected],5.11-0.134.90:20100304T032243Z:
Suitable required dependency
pkg:/system/network/[email protected],5.11-0.134.90 cannot be found
However, this issue is gone when I upgraded my client to osol b134. So
I'm wondering that is there restrictions on branch number?
