My global zone is running snv_133 and I had created a local zone also
running snv_133. I want to update the local zone (but not my global
zone) to the newer packages.
I have build an onnv repository with some (user land only) changes in it
and started up a repository, then cribbing form onu.sh I've done this:
# first put the zone in the ready state since we are updating
from outside it.
zoneadm -z jura halt
zoneadm -z jura ready
pkg -R /zones/jura/root set-publisher --non-sticky opensolaris.org
pkg -R /zones/jura/root set-publisher -P -O http://localhost:13000
on-nightly
pkg -R /zones/jura/root uninstall entire
PHASE ACTIONS
Removal Phase 54/54
pkg -R /zones/jura/root refresh --full
pkg -R /zones/jura/root image-update
No updates available for this image.
What am I missing ?
I'm basically trying to simulate what I would have been able to do with
SVR4 based full root zones by installing the packages I know have my
changes in them (or indeed bfu'ing the zone).
The reason I'm trying to update from outside the zone is because the
zone has no network connectivity.
